What is the difference between a fixed limit and a no-limit poker?

As No-Limit Hold'em is gaining momentum, many players have come across a game version offering a new playing structure that can be daunting. Fixed-limit poker means that all bets and raises can be made in predetermined increments. As for no-limit poker, players can bet and raise using any number of chips, up to using the entire stack. It makes sense to start with the no-limit version if you are playing live poker where deceptive moves can play an important part, while fixed-limit poker does not allow you to be very creative with your betting.
