What is 3D-Secure?

3D-Secure is an added security measure, implemented for Master Card and Visa card deposits. This is a service developed by Visa and Master Card to secure card transactions on the Internet, and designed to allow the authentication of the cardholder by the card issuer during an online purchase. This reduces the likelihood of fraudulent usage of the cards.

You will see a new secure window once you have entered your Master Card or Visa card details prior to an online deposit. In order to authorize the transaction, you are required to enter the security code, as provided upon signing up for the 3DS with your bank, or as provided by email or to your mobile phone.

If your card is not enrolled for 3DS, please contact your bank that will activate that service for you.
